How we work
The Climb: five steps, ninety days, one plan.
Our logo is someone being helped up the stairs. That is the whole method. Find the next step. Take it together. Do not stop until the gains are yours to keep.

How does the Coach to Success method work?
Every engagement runs the same five-step method — Discover, Define, Build, Coach, Sustain — over an initial 90 days: read the trailing-twelve P&L, write a one-page plan with dollars and owners, install the system, coach it weekly, hand it to your leaders.
Same method inside a Profit Leak Audit, a 90-Day Sales Sprint, an advisory retainer or an interim role.
How does the 90-day method work?
Every step earns the next.
Weeks 1–2 Discover Week 3 Define Weeks 4–8 Build Weeks 4–12 Coach Week 13+ Sustain
Discover
We start with the numbers and the people, in that order. The trailing-twelve P&L by month. Job-cost reports. The pipeline. Then ride-alongs with sales, a walk through the warehouse and honest interviews with the team — the ones who know where the bodies are buried.
- You leave with
- Trailing-twelve read-out, pipeline truth, people assessment, first leak list.

Define
One page. Where the money leaks and how much. Where deals stall and why. What we will fix first, who owns each action, and what the number should look like in 90 days. If we cannot write it on one page, we do not understand it yet.
- You get
- The one-page plan with dollars, dates and owners.

Build
Install the system: a written sales process, DISC training, job-costing standards, indirect-cost billing, warehouse control and the weekly scoreboard. We do the first reps with your leaders in the room so it is theirs from the start.
- We install
- Process, standards, scoreboard, training delivered.

Coach
Weekly whiteboard sessions. Live deal coaching. P&L reviews where managers explain their own variance. Field time with sellers and PMs. The standard is held every week — kindly, publicly and without exception.
- We hold
- Weekly cadence run, skills built, results visible.

Sustain
The hand-off. Your leaders run the meeting; we sit in the back. Then a light “sharpen the saw” cadence — monthly P&L, quarterly plan — until the gains are simply how the business works.
- You own
- Leaders own the cadence; gains institutionalized.

Principles
How we behave while we work.
Numbers first
Every conversation starts with the trailing twelve. Opinions are welcome; variances are mandatory.
Both halves of one system
Selling work that operations cannot deliver at margin is not helping anyone. We work the whole system.
Empathy, communication, connection
The way we sell is the way we coach: understand the person, say it plainly, build the relationship.
Finite engagements
90 days. Six months. A year. Every engagement has an end date and a hand-off plan from day one.
Field time, not theory
Ride-alongs, warehouse walks, whiteboards. If we have not seen it, we do not fix it.
Plain speech
If the team cannot get there, we say so in month one. Kindly, early, with a plan.
What Steve says about sales and operations
A lot of people can do the sales but can’t do the operations, or can do the operations but can’t do the sales.

Clarity starts with one conversation.
Thirty minutes. Bring your trailing-twelve P&L if you have it, bring the problem if you don’t. We will tell you plainly whether we can help — and what it would take.
